- Download the pestercat-1_0_2.xpi file to your computer.
- Once you have downloaded the .xpi file, drag the file into
an open FireFox web browser window. When prompted click confirm the installation of the Toolbar extension.
- Once you have installed the extension you will need to
restart FireFox. When FireFox has been restarted you should see the
PesterCat icon on your FireFox toolbar.
- Configure the PesterCat Toolbar port to match your PesterCat proxy
recorder port. By default the extension is configured to transmit data to
the PesterCat proxy recorder on port 8181. If you have configured PesterCat
to use an alternate port you will need to configure the PesterCat Toolbar
port to match it. You can do this in FireFox by selecting
Tools --> Extensions --> PesterCat Toolbar and clicking the
preferences button. Any changes to the settings will become effective
immediately.
